The shop
Inside, a row of tan Belmont chairs faces the mirrors, each with a chrome nameplate on its side. The floor is wood. Coats go on the hooks along the wall, and the prices and hours are posted on a black letter board at the back of the room.
Every cut gets a straight-razor edge, then a short neck and shoulder rub before you leave the chair.
